I've found when that happens that the only point they prove is that the anonymity of the I'net allows them to be very 'brave' (for lack of a better word). LB: I've had the same experience over the last 5 years or so of posting political opinions (on current events message boards), thankfully :) Through those boards, only a handful ever emailed me personally to express their disgust with my opinions. I'm hoping that carries over to the blog as well and that the nasty emails are few and far in between. I don't mind dissent as long as it's done in a mature manner. There are just so many who have to sink to the lowest common denominator...and their points are usually lost in the translation. I haven't received anything blog-related, but I do television show recaps at a fairly popular website and the folks there have no problem telling me where to put my keyboard.
