Sign “theft” is a big point of contention here in Bush Country. The local newspaper will have a big article showing the reality of the situation…teenagers with too much time on their hands are doing a lot of the vandalism…then on the Opinion page they’ll print half a dozen letters from both camps decrying out immature the other one is. My husband and I went for a walk the other night and saw a gigantic Kerry/Edwards sign on someone’s front lawn (it IS Texas…the bigger the better, even if’ns ya’ll a liberal) and in the yard next door…an equally large Bush/Cheney sign. I bet those signs started out little and got bigger as the weeks went on…LOL!
