What would the other folks who have emailed suggest as a way to combat racism? One person dismisses a list with Cornell West's name on it ast "silly". Dr. West has a great deal to offer in this discussion and dismissing his input as "silly" suggests to me that the writer may not feel that racism really exists. Is that the case? Am I missing something? My impression was that this website was about finding solutions to the problem of racism. Perhaps I have strayed into a site that I needn't be in. Why they call themselves a 'ministry' escapes me, for they don't appear to be religious at all. I also looked up their 'Bibliography' page; the likes of Cornel West, Vine Deloria, Saul Alinsky, and Robert Terry all show up. The silly list even has a 'Whiteness Studies' section.
