Why I continue to blog anonymously

Read this post at National Review’s Corner, and you’ll understand why.

[Jonah Goldberg]: Someone at DC Indymedia is posting home addresses of conservatives they don’t like. The post begins "Anybody up for a visit to John Roberts’ house? Or Paul Wolfowitz’s cozy little home?" The post goes on to give the addresses and describes Wolfowitz’s house and invite people to protest at their homes. "If you know more addresses of interest or if you are planning a home visit to anyone special (and want other folks to come) please let us all know..We’ll do the same!"

I only hope that if protesters ever plan to show up at my place, they’ll give me a little notice so I can stock up on ammo. I usually only keep a thousand or so rounds on hand, and I wouldn’t want to run short.

  2. Baklava says:

That’s why I use the name “Baklava”.

It wasn’t because I’m so sweet.

Although some think I am.

  3. Bachbone says:

Somebody had better keep an eye on Alec Baldwin. He’s already suggested on national TV that Henry Hyde and his family be killed.

  4. Cav: Hey you! Haven’t seen you around in a while. As to your comment, I doubt you’d get advanced notice but I’m sure you’d be more than adequately prepared to handle the situation ;)

Bak: If it’s not to indicate sweetness, what is the meaning behind it? Enquiring minds wanna know …

Bach: Yeah – that was an awful thing for him to say. I wonder what made him change his mind about leaving the country after GWB was elected in ’00? LOL

    Sister,

I think this tactic needs too either be countered or used on Liberals.

There is a teacher in Marshalltown who was part of some Dream Act bus trip to DC. She ended up pounding on the windows of Karl Rove’s house. I saw this in the paper, but not a Marshalltown paper. I would wonder how the Left would feel if a group of people would surround the homes of Marshalltown school board members and officers of the local teachers’ union pounding on their windows?

  6. PCD says:

Sister, excuse me, in my previous post I neglected to say that Marshalltown is in Iowa.

The only other characteristic of baklava that springs to mind is that it’s very flaky.

    So I’d stay with sweet.

  8. Lorica says:

The only other reason I can think of, is that half the single guys that read this blog would be in Charlotte, with Midnight Serenades and Roses. It would create traffic jams for 4 counties around.

  9. KEvron says:

    hi, ms. zander!

  10. Steve Skubinna says:

Oh, wait, another salient characteristic of baklava suggests itself – it’s nutty.

Sweet’s looking better and better. Go with it.

And you’ve hit it in one, Lorica – were I in the vicinity of Charlotte I’d be walking around with Sister’s pic scanning faces in the crowds.

Until the restraining order was served, I guess. Then I’d break out the binos.

  11. Lorica says:

LOL You and me both Steve. If I lived near Charlotte, I would take my 5 weeks of vacation and her picture and start searching also. Heck we might run into each other in a our search “Bonk”. Too funny. – Lorica

  12. PCD: I do recall the house-pounding. :???:

Steve and Lorica: Ya’ll are causing some serious blushing from this corner ;)
