I think Charlie is a lot older than I am, and it shows,” said the vice president. How do people like Rangel keep getting re elected ?? I am beginning to think people need to be required to pass some sort of test every five years, in order to be able to continue to vote. Just like renewing your driver’s license.

The Rangel cracks are par for his particular course. He has a long history of gratuitous, quite public insults of anyone with whom he disagrees. Ask Rep Ron Paul (R-TX) about the things Rangel said about him on live television during Dr. Paul’s 1988 Presidential campaign.

In other words, “Charlie” lost it long ago, and most of us are only just noticing.

I get the impression that Rangel is experiencing some type of late-onset crisis, the type that we usually associate with teens. A lot of his rhetoric on this and other topics, seems less about an effort to target real issues and more about getting coverage on MSM. Not so long he referred to Clinton as a red neck hick, or words to that effect. These types of personal insults simply make him look unsophisticated and silly.

But I guess he doesn’t mind as long as you can include “famous” along with that.
