Yes, he is the world’s leading intellectual. That’s what American’s really need to understand. Intellectuals will always be opposed to freedom – that’s what intellectuals do. After all, their intelligence allows them to understand things in a way that we mere mortals, with our constant insistance on facts, fail to realize.
