What this decision says loud and clear is that Travis County, Texas, is run by hack partisan Democrats who don't know where partisanship ends. The judge was removed. After DeLay is aquitted, Earle will be removed from office and disbarred, if not jailed himself.

Can we see Earle be frog marched out of office and do the perp walk for the Democrat Underground crazies to see?

- I'm thinking letting this latest leftwing adventure in DemUnderground political hatchet jobs play out is, as almost always is the case, the best way to let the left self destruct.

- Todays idiotic Congressional shut down by the Senate minority leader Reid is an indication of the growing desperation of the Dems as 2006 looms just around the corner. In retrospect, as I've posted elsewhere, its obvious the left decided with the loss of the 2004 elections, that instead of trying to forge a viable platform and social program that would fly with mainstream America they would demonize and criminalize the administration and conservative politics in general. Since Plamegate fizzled out they are frustrated to the point of total meltdown. Where a short week ago, it looked like the Pres. was on the ropes, in the space of three days it is likely it has all reversed. A bank shot from full court with Alito, none of the indictments they hoped for, and a steadily improving Iraqui situation. Reid looked more like the leader of a group of dangerously cynical, conspiracy buffs than the Leader of the Democrats today. I have to believe with each mis-step, and impolitic get-Bush maneuver, they lose more and more gravitas with the voting public. They truly need a moderate hero to stem the bleeding.
