Opening statements are going on right now (or should I say “the posturing and grandstanding at the confirmation hearing has started”? ;) ).

      TV Listing : Reality show: Senators who find the right to privacy in the penumbra, but fail to see the right to bear arms in the specific language of the Constitution, question the qualifications of Alito. Comedy. Parental Guidance Please!

      I found it incredibly creepy and annoying, yet almost funny in it’s transparency – Schumer spewing his venom and using the confirmation hearings as a platform to smear George Bush.

      “The President is not a King, and the Supreme Court is not his subjects.”

      Huh? I thought this was supposed to be about Alito?!
