Straw ‘opposes all Muslim veils’ (UPDATED)

Cabinet Minister Jack Straw has said he would prefer Muslim women not to wear veils at all. The Commons leader said he did not want to be “prescriptive” but he believed that covering people’s faces could make community relations more difficult.

I love george galloway. I didnt know much about him before he entered the big brother house. I felt that he was the only housemate who actually said what he thought, he did not act for 3 weeks like the others. He was true to himself. The British media and their dirty triks will not win in the long run. George is a hero and has to be commended for his work. He had won many people over and remenber any publicity is good publicity. The winner of big bro really does reflect on the simple minds of the British public.

George Galloway used to be my local MP in Scotland. I’ve met him a couple of times; he’s amusing, witty company, and a very intelligent man.

He’s also an apologist for terrorists, dictators and thugs, and there are those who say he’s a crook. I couldn’t possibly comment.

He’s humiliating himself for the sake of an ego-trip, and I for one hope he stays in as long as possible. Only one caveat: the charity he’s raising money for, Interpal, has been linked to Hamas and is banned in the US and Israel. Typical of the man.
