The detailed info in the link was hard money donated to the RNC and DNC. That’s what my statement refers to and has been the trend for I believe over a decade (maybe longer). THe Indian money given just like Unions, and 527′s, etc was SOFT money that have a whole other set of rules. In CA Indians gave mostly to Democrat politicians. This is special interest money that has grown exponentially and totals in the hundreds of millions instead of the tens of millions (for hard money). As government gets larger and larger this special interest money is donated more and more because everyone wants a piece of the government action. THis is a reason why conservatives want to shrink government and believe it is foolish for liberals to think government isn’t large enough (as government has grown EVERY year for over 6 decades). Lobbying and Special Interests are trying to influence legislation daily and it ISN’T illegal. Soft money contributions will continue to grow as long as government grows.

1) The PEOPLE of this country aren’t buying the Democrat parties line of crap and aren’t contributing (this is hard money not soft) as much to Democrats because they have NO message
2) The constituencies of the Democrat party offer the following problems…..
a) The poor/students don’t have money to contribute…
b) The rich/hollywood/professors who give are limited to the cap of $2,000 per individual in hard money (yes the rich give in high numbers to the Democrats – as they think they “care” more than conservatives
3) The Republicans are CONTINUING the trend of having MORE and MORE people donate and contribute to the RNC than the DNC. Republicans have contributors donating LESS per person than the Democrats and by FAR MORE PEOPLE contributing.

This continued trend is due to the left that has lost their CONTROL on the message. They used to have control with ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN and now the country does NOT believe the incessant lying/accusing/etc.

I’m sure you can leap to that conclusion. And I’m sure you can also leap to the conclusion that the money is going to other liberal causes rather than just not being raised or going to republican groups.
