I believe in Liberty and M&Ms, the US Constitution and the art of Maxfield Parrish, and M&Ms. Did I mention M&Ms?

I visit Sister Toldjah every day, and rarely get in trouble here.

I’ve spoken at length regarding the disrespect of well, just about everything and how the shortcuts are actually throats cut, metaphorically speaking.

I better not hijack the thread, big Sister’ll come round with a big stick……..Great idea, Karl. Where do you hail from, if I might ask?

ST has my blog listed in a column on the left…although the right would be more accurate. I’ve been straying away from political commentary of late, with occasional visits still occurring.

Why camojack? My biker buds dubbed me “Camo” because of my predilection for wearing camo pants, which I started doing in the Army; the name stuck, and was also embraced by my hiker friends. So be it. Family and friends call me Jack.

I was born and raised in Philly, but live in it’s suburbs nowadays. In between, I lived in: NH, NY, TX, CA, AL & HI.

For my primary source of income, I turn wrenches on the V-22 “Osprey” at Boeing’s Philadelphia facility. I’ve also got a number of sidelines I pursue sporadically.

OK, that’ll do for now, methinks…

I am many things. The things I am the most proud of are:
a father.
a veteran
a guitar player
a writer
a computer technician
a dreamer
politcally aware

My less proud list will remain mine for now.

Suffice to say that the things I listed about tend to color my world voew more then others. I am very sesntive to military issues, and to abuse towards chilfren. Music is my greatest passion, but not generally worthy of writing about, so instead I write about politics and the craziness that seems to rule our lives.

I think if the various politicians would drop their rhetoric and form an impromptu band we would have less trouble.

I dream of things less common. A world where common sense is loved more the partisan rhetoric. where the media is determined to tell the whole story, not just the story they think will sell. Where truth is valued above expediency. Where we once again are governed by statesman, not politicians.
And a government that truly serves the will of the poeple, not the needs of reelection.

Its a big dream I know. But as long as peoiple care enough to talk and blog about it, it can happen.

I am an optimist too.

Jack, Remember Tim in the Mel Gibson movie, “Air America” or whatever about Mel as a CIA pilot in Cambodia?

I remember Tim very well from “Air America” and his role in “Uncommon Valor” opposite Gene Hackman and Fred Ward. He’s one of the last graduates of the Robert Mitchum “Tough Guy” school of acting.

One of his best roles was in “Cherry 2000″, a Classic B-Movie. Tim’s looks like he’s been around the block a few times, and he uses it to make whatever he’s in better.
