Hey, 41 yrs old, living in Tampa. Currently looking for work. Republican. Enjoy watching Stargate and Monk. Came across your blog a few weeks ago. Great stuff. You're intelligent and cute, wow. I used to go up to NC when I was a kid, to visit relatives who lived in a little town called Tryon.

Quiet, blogagog! Sheesh! I know I'm not gonna be studying!

I'm 50, originally from Pennsylvania, now in Florida by way of the West Coast.

I'm a writer, though I pay the bills by working Maintenance in a Wal-Mart, here in Florida. I'm a Christian member of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy, and I voted for Ronald Wilson Reagan twice! ;)

I believe in Liberty and M&Ms, the US Constitution and the art of Maxfield Parrish, and M&Ms. Did I mention M&Ms?

I visit Sister Toldjah every day, and rarely get in trouble here. :d

Well, I've never posted but I visit the site as often as possible. I'm 21, from Ohio and a die-hard Republican (worked for John Boehner's re-election committee 3 times + psyched that he's the new Majority Leader!) I'm in the US Air Force, stationed in Tucson, Az, I'm a Senior Airman, been in three years, and I test for Staff Sergeant soon (wish me luck!). And regardless of what wackos like Cindy Sheehan say I'm proud to serve our country. I haven't been overseas yet (I'm a mechanic in a pilot training unit) but I'm more than willing to. What we are doing in Iraq is something I strongly support, and I really appreciate all the support we in the military get from all the wonderful people out there like you. Thanks!

ST, I hope you realize that there will be a quiz on the information contained in this comment section. You know, to make sure you learned the material. Here are some example questions:

Who is 49, a tinker with his T-Bird and drives it daily?

Who is a self-described "highly opinionated individual" and has no use for libbers?

Who is the 'geechee' girl who has azaleas in her yard?

The test won't be open book either. I hope you use this weekend well studying your readers! ;)

Shalom -

39, database engineer for a Medicare-contracted quality improvement organization.

Offbeat "conservadox" Jew; staunch and unapologetic Zionist.

Began life as a moonbat, but years of thinking, reading, and living life as an adult have cured me thoroughly, Baruch HaShem.

I don't post much, but I read regularly, and I generally enjoy the posts and the comments here.

I grew up in New York, so I started life with some wrong-headed ideas about the South, cured by excellent experiences with countless Southerners, pleased to add ST to the list :-)

Common sense-before it's not. What a concept! Don't tell the dems, or anybody else. Before ya know it, Honor, Respect and reality based logic will be required in schools and criminals deserving of the penalty, will be shot. In some cases, on the spot. Other types of criminals will be put to work. There's no shortage of projects......that's a good start for some of the issues.

I've spoken at length regarding the disrespect of well, just about everything and how the shortcuts are actually throats cut, metaphorically speaking.

I better not hijack the thread, big Sister'll come round with a big stick........Great idea, Karl. Where do you hail from, if I might ask?

OK, trying again, the last attempt failed.

ST has my blog listed in a column on the left...although the right would be more accurate. I've been straying away from political commentary of late, with occasional visits still occurring.

Why camojack? My biker buds dubbed me "Camo" because of my predilection for wearing camo pants, which I started doing in the Army; the name stuck, and was also embraced by my hiker friends. So be it. Family and friends call me Jack.

I was born and raised in Philly, but live in it's suburbs nowadays. In between, I lived in: NH, NY, TX, CA, AL & HI.

For my primary source of income, I turn wrenches on the V-22 "Osprey" at Boeing's Philadelphia facility. I've also got a number of sidelines I pursue sporadically.

OK, that'll do for now, methinks... :)>-

I dream of things less common. A world where common sense is loved more the partisan rhetoric. where the media is determined to tell the whole story, not just the story they think will sell. Where truth is valued above expediency. Where we once again are governed by statesman, not politicians.
And a government that truly serves the will of the poeple, not the needs of reelection.

We describe ourself as much how we wish others to see us, as we do who we really are. In honestly answering the question I have to strip away that to a degree and try to see what I am as much as who.

I am many things. The things I am the most proud of are:
a father.
a veteran
a guitar player
a writer
a computer technician
a dreamer
politcally aware

My less proud list will remain mine for now.

Suffice to say that the things I listed about tend to color my world voew more then others. I am very sesntive to military issues, and to abuse towards chilfren. Music is my greatest passion, but not generally worthy of writing about, so instead I write about politics and the craziness that seems to rule our lives.

I think if the various politicians would drop their rhetoric and form an impromptu band we would have less trouble.

Its a big dream I know. But as long as peoiple care enough to talk and blog about it, it can happen.

I am an optimist too.

Hi, PCD:

Jack, Remember Tim in the Mel Gibson movie, "Air America" or whatever about Mel as a CIA pilot in Cambodia?

I remember Tim very well from "Air America" and his role in "Uncommon Valor" opposite Gene Hackman and Fred Ward. He's one of the last graduates of the Robert Mitchum "Tough Guy" school of acting.

One of his best roles was in "Cherry 2000", a Classic B-Movie. Tim's looks like he's been around the block a few times, and he uses it to make whatever he's in better.

I remember Tim very well from “Air America” and his role in “Uncommon Valor” opposite Gene Hackman and Fred Ward. He’s one of the last graduates of the Robert Mitchum “Tough Guy” school of acting.

One of his best roles was in “Cherry 2000″, a Classic B-Movie. Tim’s looks like he’s been around the block a few times, and he uses it to make whatever he’s in better.

Jim,

I'm way ahead of you on the parts. I use eBay when I have time. I also use www.car-part.com, a Ford dealer our Super Coupe club has a discount with, and Advance Auto, where I get an employee discount. Also, I get a few deals from the boards at www.tccoa.com.

Jim, the truck is a future project. Got to finish the bird first.

If you haven't used e-bay for some auto parts you need to check it out. I have bought some interior parts and have received used parts in excellent condition for less than half price. Check out tirerack.com I replaced all four tires cheaper that any other tire store around this area.
