Just give these leaches three weeks and the money stops the free lunch on the taxpayers is over! We don’t care if the only thing you have to live in has “Westinghouse” printed on the side of it. When I am in line behind one of these leaches in the grocery store and they use WIC checks I always say in a loud voice “Your Welcome” because I worked today to help pay for your food! If you can’t afford to feed yourself DO NOT HAVE KIDS they are not the taxpayer’s responsibility to provide your housing, clothing and food! It is illegal to rob somebody at gun point but it is ok to use the Government to use force to take money away from people that work to redistribute to the leaches of society.

For generations these people have had everything handed to them by the democrats to shore up their voting block. And now people think they are going to all of a sudden have a burst of morality && work ethic??? The entire article is a joke!!! && unfortunately the joke is now on the Texas taxpayers via the corrupt political system here in LA that has built a welfare city, with a welfare mentality of people who had to be ushered out because they were taught that the government’s job is to wait on them hand and foot. Poor Houston. .. . The funny thing is the blacks want to be called African Americans, plain ole American isn’t good enough for them, but the American dream is at their finger tips && they’ll never touch it because for generations they have been taught that the government was going to stretch out their hand for them. They came to this country as slaves && the democrats have kept them that way. .. .

I wonder if anyone has really kept track of NO displaced residents.

Would love to know how many have jobs now.

How many have moved back or decided to permanently leave NO.

How many are still living on cruise ships and hotels.

I would love to know how many have picked themselves back up and began life again.

And I would love to know of the other residents in the different cities and counties besides NO that have been displaced and have lost homes also. The media concentrates on NO only, media coverage of NO ‘recovering’, Mardi Gra, Chocolate comments, ect…

What about the other areas?
Did they suddenly get misplaced?
Are they not important enough?

The size of the area of devestation is about the size of Great Britian from what was reported. Why does it seem we are stuck on stupid with NO?

I hear of all the money going to help the people in NO, what about all the rest? I have not heard of monetary amounts for them…what help are they receiving?

This will probably sound bad, but I am sick of hearing about NO like it is the only thing that got hit, like it was the center of attention of the whole hurricane. I think we need to expand our vision and see ALL the people affected by this devestation.

As for Councilwoman Shelley Sekula-Gibbs in Houston: You go, girl! Yeah, like they’re really gonna get off their duffs as long as money is being handed to ‘em. Yeah.

I admire Ms. Sekula-Gibbs’ bluntness, and would love for her words to come to fruition.

Though, when dealing with thousands who are the offshoot of Generational Socialist Engineering and Corruption. It’s going to be a very up-hill battle.
