Fukuyama, was one of the 18 signators to the New American Century letter sent to Clinton, in 1998. As were Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, Khalilzad, Bolton and Perle among others. This group of neo-cons(Vulcans) have a simple belief system which includes the writings of Leo Strauss, the idea that the ends justifies the means and that lying is necessary. They also believe in a strong central government, limiting public knowledge about policy and pre-emptive and permanent war. Their thinking is in the process of being dis-credited which is why the rats are jumping ship. Peace

On that topic of unforgivable. This is yet another example of liberals with their irresponsible rhetoric. It has happened far too often and they may be gaining traction in the political landscape but I hope they aren’t gaining traction. In surveys twice as many people identify themselves as conservatives rather than liberal but sometimes that means little. When asked who people identify with more, because of demagoguing liberals have made Republican a bad name when Republicans are far from conservative.

So how will the elections turn out in November? Only God knows but one thing is certain. If Republicans keep actually tackling issues that conservatives care about such as illegal immigration and curbing spending politicians and the media may be stunned again in November.
