I read at some humor site that Murtha said (about the zarqawi killing) "Despite this setback, Democrats vow to continue the war on the war on terror". It would be easier to laugh at if I didn't have the feeling that for at least part of the left, it's an accurate statement. Heck, some liberals are even calling the Gitmo suiciders "heroes for those of us who believe in basic American values of justice, fairness and democracy"! Of course, the BBC felt it was accurate enough to write a piece about it. No doubt they agree with the sentiment. Un(expletive deleted)believable.
