Murtha advocated cut and run in Somalia, and he’s doing it now

Sweetness and Light has the details and background on Murtha’s call for a complete withdrawal of US troops in Somalia in 1993 after the Black Hawk down incident – an incident that further inspired OBL and his terrorist followers to believe that the US would cut and run when faced with waves of US troop casualties.

Murtha is now urging the President to do in Iraq what Clinton did in 1993 in response to the Black Hawk down attacks. And what Reagan did in 1983 after the Hezbelloh massacre of the Marine barracks in Beirut.

And the media refers to Murtha as a “Democratic hawk” on war matters? I don’t get it.

      Murtha keeps showing off that yellow stripe of his. Yes, I know he served in the Marines. And that was over 30 years ago. Since then his bonafides as a Hawk for the Democrats has been to steadily push for American surrender around the world. A typical Democratic Socialist response to the world.

      Serving in the Military is a noble thing. But you can’t ride that horse for the rest of your life. Murtha’s been sucking at the public trough for 32 years, and has done nothing to further American goals. He’s a disgrace. And an embarrassment to all of Pennsylvania!

      … and it looks as though his service in the Corps ended 40 years ago. Time’s up for this scandal-ridden a$$hat. Western PA needs to retire him. Sheesh!
