The stability that Europe has enjoyed for 61 years, was afforded them by the USA. they may want to look inward at their socialist approaches to workers, and find the real cause for lack of stability.

I refuse to believe that a majority of Euros are such blithering idiots as this poll suggests.

This past November while vacationing in Spain, a Spaniard, whom I now consider a friend, apologized for the rampant anti-American sentiments espoused by his countrymen.

There is hope for them yet!

I hate these surveys because when closely examined they often say nothing. What is meant by the greatest threat? If it means that the U.S. doing the right thing will cause problems, then who can dispute that? The U.S. is the greatest short term threat in the sense that it is the most likely to be unwilling to let Iran get away with becoming a nuclear power. In that sense, it is more of an immediate threat to cause problems than Iran is, though, of course, Iran’s problem causing is going to be horrible if allowed to occur. It gets even worse when you consider that the questions are presumably asked in a language other than English so we really don’t even know what was asked.

Screw anyone of ‘em that hates us or believes the worst of us. We haven’t the time to bother with these losers. They’re heading for the dustbins of history with their predecessors: the Communists, the National Socialists, the Divine Right-ers.

Representative governments, Constitutional Republics, Capitalism are all the roads to the future. Most of Europe will fall to the insanity of Izlam or the lunacy of Socialism. We need to be disentangled from them before they fall.

BTW, Americans gave over $260 BILLION dollars in private charity including international help last year. This does not include the PUBLIC funds of help that the federal government gave last year. We Americans give more in aid and help and charity than ALL of the other nations combined and yet people with a skewed perspective because of the agenda driven drive by legacy press will hate America because we are more prosperous and free.

There’s an old Budhist saying that comes to mind, “Why do you hate me? I’ve done nothing to help you.”

The more you help people, the more the resent and hate you for it, all the while expecting even more. It’s been that way as long as there have been people, most seem to feel weak if they have to rely on handouts, and reward the giver by treating them poorly and hating them. So, perhaps we all should just stop giving, period.

When I was Berlin, I got in trouble for ordering at a bakery in English. The lady behind the counter started yelling that I was speaking English. On the flip side, at checkpoint charlie, there was a rose, with a note that said, “thank you america, we will never forget.” That was referring to the U.S.A. helping airlift supplies during the Berlin Blockade.

I say this having been to England, Wales, France, Germany, Czech Republic and Latvia within the last few years. There is something going in in France & Germany where they don’t like anyone except each other, but I’m sure this is just a phase they are going through.

This is just a poll, and polls are typically conducted by someone with an agenda. Europeans and Americans get along great. Even the French are pretty cool when you get to know them on an individual basis.

It’s all easy to understand if you understand that the press is predisposed of lying. The ends justify the means you see. The press can paint any picture the way they want with no repercussions because their leftist ideology is what matters. The U.S. allows too much freedom….
