Here’s a photograph I would have made it just fine through life without seeing. Kinda looks like the Rambo of the environmental movement, doesn’t he?
That is one heck of a puff piece on Angry Al.
I think Gore actually sells himself a bit short in the article, though, when he says this:
”That word — star — it hits my ear with a little too much irony,” Gore is complaining. ”Rin Tin Tin was a movie star. Not me.”
Oh, I dunno, Al. I think you could give Rin Tin Tin some serious competition in the Howling at the Moon(bats) category. I mean, just check out this pic:

All of Al’s (and now Clinton has come out with the same, Bubba bloviating that global warming will end civilization) rants about global warming are just another blatant attempt to win power back for Democrats in general and the Clintonistas in particular. Completely incapable of coming up with any solution or strategy for the war on terror (you’d have to admit there is problem first), both because they are weak, and because they don’t want to anger their anti-war weenie base, and having no luck casting the economy as bad, etc. the Dems are desperate to find some issue to resonate that will put them back in power. So, they are lying thru their teeth about global warming, and railing that it’s all Bush’s fault, only Dems will save the planet, etc. It’s a completely transparent attempt to amplify a non-issue into something that differentiates them from the Republicans and convince people to vote for them.
Just another blatant attempt to grab power by the party of losers.

And Rin Tin Tin was smarter than Al — and still is, even though he’s gone to doggie heaven.
