As far as this woman’s comments, she is just another in a long line of useful idiots that like to see their names in news print. 1st off she brings up the 1st Gulf War. What did GW have to do with that??? How is it his fault. Billy Bob was President when we had embargos on Iraq. But yet somehow in this idiots hopeless logic it is GW’s fault. Also who’s fault was it that the United States was forced into military action in 1991???? Yes the answer is Sadamn Hussein. Who’s fault was it that there were embargo’s in place, again the answer is Sadamn. If he would of just stuck to the surrender agreement we would never had to have 12 UN resolutions or embargos or had to go back and kick his butt in 2003. But nooooo in the dream world of a good leftist, it is all George Bush’s fault. Not Kofi’s, who was installed into power in 1996, not Billy Bob’s who took office in 1993, NOPE it’s GW’s fault.

Unfortunately, I think we as a nation suffer from the same syndrome. That if we are hit repeatedly over and over again with the same garbage, day-in and day-out, that we tend to become immune or non-plussed to the effects of it.

Should we be shocked at violence, or at sex being taught in schools, or God and any mention of it being removed from schools, or be a Muslim for a day or be a Jew for a day being taught in schools…?

We are hit with the same garbage all the time, and until something actually happens to YOU or ME personally, I do not think we will be overly affected with outrage or indignation.

Too much of the, it doesn’t affect me mentality.
