BS. The US has not manufactured any new nuclear weapons in longer than that, it was way before '91 when the last bomb rolled off the assembly line. You know what that means? YES!!! In accordance with what the whining, bedwetting liberal peaceniks want, the US HAS UNILATERALLY DISARMED!!! Yup, we have no nukes, because all of them are "old and don't count!!!" No matter how much evidence you place in front of folks like Hanley and Ritter showing that what they believe just ain't so, they not only do not believe you but are willing to ascribe a variety of evil motives to their critics (ignorance, racism, warmongering, government conspiracy, etc.). As you pointed out ST, the facts are solidly against Hanley's position - which is why he never deals with them in his article. And it is interesting that the more the facts pile up against Bush's critics, the more irrational and paranoid some of them seem to become. Two observations: 1. The discovery of large amounts of WMDs in Iraq exposes the lie that the MSM and the anti-war movement have deliberately pushed for three years (the possibility that Iraq had illegal WMDs was always very real, although the MSM chose to deny it). Does anyone now doubt that most of the MSM and anti-war movement are openly supporting terrorism? 2. Facts has begun to pinch folks like Hanley and Ritter. Their bubble has been burst by reality, and they resent it. Hanley and Ritter are entitled to their opinions - but not their own facts. When they dissemble so blatantly, we have both the right and duty to confront them with their malfeasance. To allow a lie to triumph is unthinkable.
