He’s one of “them”, so as long as he never commits the mortal sin of putting down the glorious Jihadi freedom fighters, or makes the other cardinal sin of saying out loud we need to win the WOT, he’s safe in the moonbat community, because you know, the only thing that matters in life to the Left these days is proving Dubyah wrong.
If we ever get tired of putting up with al Sader in Iraq and nail him, and if things eventually work to defang Hezbollah in Lebanon, I think all the asshat’s head’s will explode in unison.

See this is why you can’t take these people seriously. They pick and choose what passes for “evidence”, they blame someone who was not on a national scene for things that he was left once he did make it national (GW). I mean where was the “righteous”(??) outrage when the USS Cole was attacked. They were too busy defending the 1st rapist from chrages he was guilty of. HOW can you take what any of them say as if it wasn’t molded and manipulated into their own ideologies?? - Just in passing I reviewed a number of the cess pool sites that is the Left these days. Hardly any mention of the war, The Reuters art fair, ect. Everything is Ned Ned Ned 24/7. I stopped at FDL, Jane Hampsters lunitic bin (every time I see that name it reminds me of the old Dan Akroid/Jane Curtin skit: Jane, you ignorant sl@t!- rofl). They’ve put so much effort into this, you’d think they were attending the writing of the Constitution. Of course they’re already pre-excusing, and assuming the eternal mantle of “underdog”, just in case, one of her comments approximating: “OMG how I hope we can win this. The playing fields not level, and Joe is tossing money around like Ceasar, but it would be so nice to win something other than a moral victory for a change.” (Maybe also something other than rigged polls would be nice too, but who’s counting.)
- I don’t know why they are trying so hard to set themselves up for yet another heart wrenching defeat, nobody thinks for a minute that Lieberman will lose in the normal state wide race, but I do know I wouldn’t want to be within 100 miles of any of the moonbats when the voting is done this fall.
- One usefull thing that might come out of Conn. is we’ll get a preview of just what the real percentages of loons are among the general electorate, particularly given that Conn. is a fairly blue state. Will be interesting. If they can’t win there what will it bode for the National elections. Hillery of course, is watching all of this with saucer eye’s, and taking furious notes, which is fine. We can only hope the Left runs another hard right ideolog in 2008.

It is my hope and prayer that if the Left does run on the Right’s ideologies, that they are called on it, by both the Extreme base, and by the Right. I get abit tired, by those who really should be voting Republican, who continue to vote Democrat, because they listen to the lies during campaign season. Look at Hillary for example. It is so funny to see her run to and fro depending on what group of people she is talking to. I would hate to be a reporter assigned to her, could you imagine the amount of editing it takes to make this woman look good??? – Lorica

INTERESTING news story from Yahoo from the Israel perspective (unusual to see)
It mentions:
1) The planes patrol at will and with little fear, since Hezbollah doesn’t have an air force. (An IDF spokesperson says Hezbollah did launch an unmanned spy plane Monday, which Israel claims to have quickly shot down just as it entered Israeli airspace.)
2) At 5 p.m. the air raid sirens go off again and Engine No. 11 rolls out on a call. This time the impact of a rockets is more than just a pinprick. It has landed in a courtyard at Danciger High School, smashing a small retaining wall and creating a six-inch impact crater in the concrete.
But that’s not all. The rocket fragments have bounced up, poked the walls of the school’s gymnasium and left some broken windows. Red-hot metal has ignited the kitchen section of the building where snacks were prepared. Black smoke is billowing out of the upper windows.
The door to the kitchen is padlocked and one of the firefighters rips into it with an electric saw.
“Water, water,” yells another firefighter, running a hose line from the engine to the burning gymnasium.
Within minutes they are spraying the interior of the kitchen, where the walls are already charred.
Because it’s summer break and because of the fighting with Hezbollah, the school building was empty. But, if the attack had been at a different time in the day, the outcome come have been much worse.
3) He says in the last two weeks the school has been hit three times, including the latest attack.
4) Another engine from the same brigade will be called out almost exactly one hour from the time this call was made. They will respond to another rocket attack, this one hitting a nearby school, shearing a hole through a building wall and igniting a grass fire with its exploding debris.
