What do the global warming pants wetters think about the fact that sea surface temperatures have been declining since 2003? Global warming causes cooling! The disaster de jour pundits have no clothes, but unfortunately they have plenty of idiot fellow travelers in the press and the Democratic party.

Yes, it is true, that is an easy one to predict but Max Mayfield does NOT believe Global Warming is real and the cause of the hurricane season last year. He blieves hurricane seasons are naturally cyclical.

Speaking of hurricane seasons and Global Warming, what do the Global Warming alarmists think about this season which is under active?? Didn’t they predict a season worse than last year? Wonder what their excuse is?

What, you mean if I built an expensive beach house right on the coast I’d be in danger of losing it and then I could sit there on my roof waiting for the military to lift me up and the red cross to give me a $2000 debit card and fema would be here the next day with ice, food, trailers and more money, God, I can’t believe that.!!!!!

Well, of course he’s right — because his “forecast” isn’t based on weather or global warming, but on population build-up right on the coast.

I’ve spent some time on the Outer Banks, especially Ocracoke Island, and I’ve seen what simple nor’easters can do to the ~~idiots~~ people who put homes on stilts on the ocean side of the dune line. I’ve seen the houses in Sandbridge (in Virginia Beach), where wealthy people put up homes on the shore, and then expect the city and the state to pay for their foolishness when disaster strikes.

I have absolutely no problem with people building on the coast, if they can afford it; I do have a problem with such people (invariably people of much better than average means these days) sponging off the government for flood insurance and jetties and sea walls and sand replentishment.

It’s the same prediction as the ‘Big One’ in California. “Don’t know when, but it’s coming.”

Okay. Makes sense. Build up the coastlines, something that didn’t occur 100 years ago. Throw in millions of automobiles and millions of people. Add a category 4 or 5 hurricane, and you will have the makings of a disaster.

However, just as in New Orleans, if a sufficient number of people ignore the warnings, wait for somebody else to move them out, then they will die in huge numbers. It won’t be the fault of government, other than those nimrods that promise cardle-to-grave nany-care. It will be the fault of those who refuse to take responsibility for thier own lives.

*Yawn!*

Max Mayfield sure is as goofy as Al Gore, I laugh at them both for being so ridiculous, Is there a consensus amongst scientists on global warming? Only the real nutcases, I have read articles that the real scientist call Al Gores Idea of global warming science fiction.
