Would you listen to this?

Check this out:

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Greenstone Media, a radio company whose founders include social activist Gloria Steinem and actress Jane Fonda, has launched an all-women, all-talk network across the United States.

Steinem said the network, which is run by women, aims to provide an alternative to current radio talk, which she describes as “very argumentative, quite hostile, and very much male-dominated.”

LOL … does Ms. Steinem think that a network full of competitive women (including feministas) will be LESS hostile and argumentative? =))

Shouldn’t Jane Fonda be in jail?

  2. Drewsmom says:

Yeah right, like all us ladies in fly over country will be listening to these looney feminist democratic hacks, and yes, fonda should be in jail.:-?

  3. Severian says:

Well, if they played this to me non-stop instead of rock and roll I’d probably crack and tell all.

I will try to add my $0.02-worth:

What will they call it? Air Amerika II – The Boob Crew? Or maybe Girls Gone Weird? Perhaps BDS Plus PMS?

(Sorry, ST – I call the jokes as I see ‘em. And an all-feminista all-talk radio network run by Gloria and Hanoi Jane – talk about a target-rich environment for jokes!) :">

  5. Drewsmom says:

jane and gloria will have as the first guest on their show the president of iran, he is speaking now at the un, how :-&ning and Isreal is not there, don’t know if US is around.**==

You’re killing me, Mwalimu — too funny!

What always gets me is that liberals accuse conservative talk radio of being mean-spirited and angry. This, to me, is just proof that they haven’t heard it. But, meanwhile, have they ever listened to Randi Rhoades (I’m not even sure of the spelling)? Now, there’s a nasty, angry, hate-filled individual.

I would like to challenge this statement:
Steinem said the network, which is run by women, aims to provide an alternative to current radio talk, which she describes as “very argumentative, quite hostile, and very much male-dominated.”

Isn’t that Cho woman a woman??? I have heard some of her remarks, and I would not consider what she has to say to be gentile. – Lorica

Well, I don’t see how they can do much worse than Err America. We knew that Err America was in serious trouble when they put on Jerry Springer as a serious political commentator! :d

Hey, BDS+PMS will either succeed or fail, on its merits. I do have a guess as to whether it will be success or failure . . .

Will this Radio Station run on used vegetable oil. :D – Lorica

    NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:((

  12. Marshall Art says:

I’m surprised these two, especially Steinem, would suppose that women can’t hack the “male-dominated” talk radio format. Isn’t that kind of chauvinistic?(sp)

  13. forest hunter says:

Maybe they could book the two Cynthidiots on at the same time, it’d be like a self-tapping screw and an impact driver sealing their own coffin, from the inside. That should not only provide “…a different spirit……more community…… information……humor……. different points of view and not constant arguing,” but (and here I would have to agree with the article) fulfill their “hopes to attract male listeners.”

Well, if they can sign Rosie to be one of the hosts, why, they’ll be reasoned and pleasant, won’t they?

    Heheheheee!**==
