Even democratic strategists have said this was a major mistake by the Lamont campaign. Lieberman still has a large following in Conn. and they feel that this campaign may very well swing in favor of Joe.

We can only hope!

I would love to see a response from Liebermans group as, “Mr. Lamont thinks changing parties from Democrat to Independent is making me a so-called “turncoat”.

But to Mr. Lamont, I say, “What do you do when your own party abandons you?”

Even as a Independent I can can still hold to the values I had as a Democrat, nothing is changed, expect I will no longer be associated with the democrat party that abandoned me.

While I thank Mr. Lamont or his “concern”, I reall think we should concentrate on the issues and not party affiliation.

I would love to see Lieberman hit back like that.

I wonder how well the Press would take a Liebermann ad campaign if it called LaMont a Commie Bastard. Do you think they’d see it as humorous?

I saw the commercial. Nothing compared to the stuff they are saying on the left wing blogs, but still pretty vicious. I think being vicious is a losing strategy, but I guess we’ll see real soon.
