Show us the proof, Howie: DNC Chair accuses President of spying on political enemies

Posted by: ST on November 2, 2006 at 5:18 pm

Via the Times-Argus (emphasis added):

“I think there’s a lot of similarities between Nixon and Agnew and Bush and Cheney,” Dean said, referring to vice presidents Spiro Agnew – also forced to resign from office – and Vice President Richard Cheney.

They’re both using the IRS for political purposes. They’re both spying on people they don’t like and not just terrorists, but also American citizens. Neither one of them particularly believes in judicial rights. They’ve both been dishonest with the American people.”

So, where’s the proof, Deaniac? These are serious accusations. Either put up or shut up.

:-? Do we really want this guy to shut up? His mouth is-next to his brain-his biggest liability.

Dean is trying to generate an October/November surprise all by his little ol’ self.l-)

He sounds like the only proof he has is about 150-proof…. :)

Remember, this is the same character that went on national TV and started talking about how the President knew about 9/11 beforehand. So we know he’s basically an irresponsible bomb-thrower who feels he needs no evidence to float even the most idiotic conspiracy theories.

Which makes him the perfect poster boy for the extreme left. I agree with Dim Bulb – give him a bigger, more pwerful microphone.

Then again, maybe Howie’s just projecting. He knows the Dems make illegal use of the IRS so he assumes everyone does.

Recall that at least one senior IRS official admits that the Clintonistas used the IRS as a tool against his legal opponents, and against Billy Dale in the Travelgate scandal.

And Let’s not forget the 900 FBI files on political enemies. Seems to me Mr. Dean is abit in error in his thinking. There is no evidence that GW has spied on political enemies. Where does he get this stuff?? Seems to me that more than one Dem is feeling abit over confident so they can let their true selves show.

Iowa’s Governor did an ad for the Dem that he hopes takes his job. In it he says that Jim Nussle will ruin Iowa. My only question has been got something that will back that up Bubb?? Do these guys use crystal balls or is Dionne Warwick still working as a fortune teller?? – Lorica

dean is a fool, of course he can’t provide proof of this cuz there ain’t none.

  7. - I think Dean is trying to push the Kerry mess out of the press, and came forth with the most outrageous thing he could think of. safe ground because the Left has made it “Ok” to say anthing you want to about Bush. they’re hoping to move the National debate back to Bush and the Iraq war as fast as they can. Pretty transperant.

    - Unfortunately Seymour Hersch just peed on that plan with his idiotic comments in Canada, again disparaging the military in Iraq as “Murderous”. These guys just can’t seem to help themselves.

    - Bang **==

  8. Jack Deth says:

They’re both using the IRS for political purposes

That was more Clinton’s gig, Howie!l-) You could add audits of the NRA and Conservative publications and Think-Tanks; which Bill stupidly blamed for the “Republican Revolution”

Using the IRS for political purposes was LBJ’s dreamchild during the 1960s.=))

Just keep flapping your gums. :(( It shows how truly, pathetically desperate your are! \:d/
