10 month sentence for kiddie porn producer??

Posted by: ST on November 25, 2006 at 11:15 pm

Jay at Stop the ACLU has the jawdropper story of the day about a kiddie porn producer from right here in North Carolina who astonishingly received a 10 month sentence after pleading guilty to a “page-long list of counts of 2nd-degree sexual exploitation of a minor” according to World Net Daily.

Although this sicko’s political affiliation means nothing to me, what’s as appalling to read in that story as what the perp (“community activist” Andrew Douglas Reed, 53) admitted to as well as his slap-on-the-wrist-sentence were the Democrat “leaders” in NC who wrote “letters of reference” to the court on his behalf.

Unfreakingbelievable.

The bottom line is that of course political affiliation is irrelevant in cases such as these. But according to a World Net Daily article, the judge is also a Dem. The perp is a member of THE most lib church in all of Christiandom, where he worked hard to help the church with their “welcoming” program. It’s not surprising to me that the judge and the perp’s lib supporters would take this issue so lightly. However, imagine if Mark Foley actually engaged in such activity rather than just sending kinky messages.

Does this surprise anyone? Look at who they protect. Barney Frank had a male prostitution ring in his basement. I think it was Gary Studds that took a minor to another country so he could have his way with him. Sheets Byrd can toss the N-bomb on TV and get away with it. Heck our local radio guy Jeff Katz has been on the rampage about the Walton government building. Bob Walton was convicted of sexually assaulting a high schooler. He had a building named in his honor. The Bob Walton building is home to Meckelnberg Youth and Family Services, and to Child Protective Services. If you are the right party affiliation, you can get away with murder (Ted Kennedy). It’s enough to make you crazy if you let it.

Apparently child pornography is just a minor crime. He’s Lucky he didn’t do anything REALLY bad, like bring a camcorder into a movie theater. That would have gotten him three years in prison and a maximum fine of $250,000.

It might be time to take a good hard look at our criminal system.

Hasn’t this poor man suffered anough?

And what is wrong with a judge showing compassion?

When a civialization thinks so little of the children the Good Lord grants, it is then time for that civilization to be over thrown. This atitiude toward children was the worry of most Christian Leaders in the early 70′s when abortion on demand was made legal. How many in this country think children as a burden?? That is not a correct attitude, whether you have children or not. Children are ALWAYS a blessing. I have said for a very long time. If after this man is done with his sentence, and he commits this crime again, then that Judge should be a charged as a co-conspirator. This liberal go easy on the criminal garbage would stop in a day. I believe the Fathers in this country have gone to easy on these sort of people. I hope that the Fathers of the children this man used for his profit are calling this Judge and telling him that he will be held accountable. – Lorica

Ethics and morality are only for Republicans. And as much as the Dems yammer on and on and on (and on and on) about The Children, this particular incident is nothing more than an illustration of their concern and care. I mean, what’s wrong with loving The Children?

    9. J Rob says:

“And what is wrong with a judge showing compassion?”
Where in the hell is the much vaunted Democrat compassion for the suffering this homo sapien (sorry if that offends you Walter, but I refuse to recognize him as remotely “human”) caused the children involved.
I say without apology that after listen to Democrats drone on and on about their “moral superiority” with regards for children, this incident makes that nothing but a lie! Don’t talk to me about how much Dems care for children. This proves that activism on their behalf trumps concern for children every time.

      No.

“And what is wrong with a judge showing compassion?”

To child molesters? Are you that lost, that morally bankrupt?

      Wow…

You know, cases like this means the citizenry needs to be more diligent. First, there shoiuld be a minimium sentence- this way the judges have no choice. In Ohio, judges are elected, so throw the bums out if they do this, if you can. Lastly, if the case can be made for misconduct, pull an Alcee Hastings on them and have them impeached.
