To take it to a slightly different place, all this talk about civil war (as NBC now officially refers to Iraq) is as much a civil war as the Crips and Bloods, or Capone and Moran warring with each other, but no where near the definition of a civil war. But it certainly paints a picture, doesn't it? The cut and run crowd has been painting a different picture for quite a while now. The allusion to street gangs and syndicate guys is a perfect one.
