Amazing what home field advantage does for a team that plays in a dome. Tony Dungy learned a trick or two from the late Red Auerbach, I see.

It was no accident that it was too warm in the building!

And: look what happens to a dome team when they play in the snow.

I have no idea who’ll win the Superbowl. Put a gun to my head and I’ll say the Bears?

I have a very cool drink tray with Monsters of the Midway surrounding a huge grizzly climbing the Sears tower holding a football. I got it in 1985. It is pretty cool. Sorry Colts fans, but I am really pulling for the Bears. It is good to see that they are in the Superbowl. – Lorica

Actually, you could see it coming before halftime. A couple of long runs made the statistics lie, but it was obvious that the Patriots couldn’t run on the Colts. It looked to me like Corey Dillon has just lost a step; he wasn’t hitting the holes (what few there were) with authority. The Colts would have gone in down 21-10 instead of 21-6 if they weren’t just flat out of time.

The Patriots just plain gave up on the run in the second half, and I still thought they had a chance to win; that stupid 12 men in the huddle cost them the ball, and the drive to seal the win.
