Rep. Duncan Hunter: *The* conservative candidate for 2008?

John Hawkins has a piece up today at Townhall.com in which he talks about the conservative bonafides of Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA), who is running for president.

I like Hunter, and have written briefly about him here before and Hawkins himself interviewed Rep. Hunter back in December, which you can read here, if you haven’t read it already.

Even though I find him likeable and well-qualified, I don’t think history is on Hunter’s side as this country tends to more often than not elect governors to serve in the highest office in the land. But anything’s possible, so we shall see.

    Note on Presidential Candidates….

You too can be a woman of fashion and wear dresses with the faces of powerful women on them…

    - French presidential wannabe Segolene Royal
    - US presidential wannabe Hillary Clinton
    - British great-grandmother wannabe Queen Elizabeth
    - US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice

The Italian label Gattinoni unveiled these “beauties” at a parade in the Auditorium in Rome on Sunday, adding the US presidential wannabe Hillary Clinton, the French presidential wannabe Segolene Royal, the British great-grandmother wannabe Queen Elizabeth and the US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to a long line of famous females who have been associated with the fashion house.
