Normally Michael Savage is on at 6pm over by me, but to my surprise, Dennnis Miller now has his own radio show and has taken Savage’s spot.

Our first guest today was Michael Barone. He is a senior writer for U.S. News & World Report and principal coauthor of The Almanac of American Politics. Barone and Miller debunked some of the myths perpetuated by Gore and his whole global warming trip. However, Barone acknowledged that more investigation into the role of mankind’s impact on the environment is necessary, but he’s not nearly as alarmist as the former veep. Barone also shared his political picks for ’08.

Following Barone, we had the nation’s preeminent expert on travel — Peter Greenberg. Greenberg shared his advice on beating extreme waits on the runway. Anytime you’re on a plane for more than three hours and you’re waiting in sight of the terminal, declare that you’re sick. You’ll get off the plane quickly and there’s not a judge in the world who will throw you in jail for that. He also dispelled some rumors surrounding frequent flyer miles. Listeners found out why it’s such a pain to redeem them and got some tips on how to get around the roadblocks.

Our third guest was satirist Evan Sayet. Sayet spoke about injecting some humor into the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and discussed the shortcomings of his liberal friends. The writer also shared his insight into Bill Maher — a man who he worked with earlier in his career.
