Ethics charges? This clown ought to be brought to trial for complete malfeasance and misfeasance of his office. And if convicted, do as much hard time as those three lacrosse players would have done.

Glenn Reynolds has some excellent analysis of the media's less-than-exemplary role in the case. A key quote:

In the conventional imagination, it used to be -- see To Kill a Mockingbird or reports of the Scottsboro rape trial -- that it was the noble fairness-obsessed lefties who supported due process against the ignorant right-wing hicks who tried to lynch people out of a mixture of racism, political opportunism borne of racism, journalistic sensationalism, and sheer meanness. Now the hats have switched. That's worth noting.

Do you think he smells the multi-million dollar civil suits? He’s somewhat protected, but they can have a field day if they can prove his mishandling of this case was for personal gain in any way. Such as, an election. That doesn’t look to be difficult.
