Until their loved one is acutally killed by one of these attacks they do not see or care about the danger cuz like the above posters say it makes em look better to get in in the 08 elections. That is pretty pathetic, not caring due to political reasons but it is TRUE. I fear the cells here are plotting and soon we shall see suicide bombings here in malls, churches, schools, shopping center's ect. Hell, they don't even want to protect our borders where I heard the stats show mega Chinese have come in so you know muslims are coming across in droves. We will hear things like, "Even Bush never would have proposed <em>that</em>!!" I saw the same thing happen with Reagan after the 1980 elections. The Gipper was always being compared to Nixon (it seemed) and Milhouse always came off looking better. Example - we kept hearing about Nixon's "realism" when dealing with the Soviet Empire and Reagan's "hard-line" policies that were certain to produce atomic war. They probably also believe that we need to do what Clinton did and simply react and not act. This is the party that HATES the military so anytime they can disgrace the people in uniform that's just a big bonus. :-w They better worry big time if Fred Thompson decides to run if his response to Micheal Moore is any indication. I'm convinced that the DhimmiRATs and their fellow-travellers would rather live in the slavery of dhimmitude and ultimately die under Sharia rather than "suffer" another election cycle with Republicans, conservatives or Christians (or any combination of the three) in power or in a position to regain power. Some categories: 1)There exists a signficant number of Americans who really, really dislike this society and the majority of their fellow citizens. 2)There are also a lot of people who--although they may believe this society is worth preserving--simply cannot understand the seriousness of the threat we face. They are like the "battleship admirals" of the 1920s and early 1930s who simply could not believe that the silly-looking airplanes of the period could represent a realistic challenge to their massive steel vessels. 3)There are many snobs and fad-followers who will go along with whatever plays well in their personal and professional circles, and will convince themselves that they argree with it. 4)There are political operatives who care more about the victory of their party than about the survival of their country. This goes far deeper than BDS. Some categories:
