It gets worse for the Libs, though you won’t see this in the Big Media: do y’all realize that 140 House Democrats and 10 Senators voted against raising the minimum wage, which was in the supplemental?

How do they explain that to their constituents?

I, too, and glad it was signed. I guess the pork is just the price we’ll have to pay.

The Democrat’s strategy is to kill the war in September. That month , Gen Petraeus somes to DC to brief lawmakers on the state of the “surge”. It’s a fair bet that no matter what he says the Dems will declare it all to be a failure, and that that this time they’ll try to cut off funds.

But by the same token if Petraeus can show real progress, it will strengthen wavering Republicans and might cause some “blue dog” Democrats to vote to continue funding. Lets hope that’s what happends, anyway….

Glad it was signed but some of the things in it have nothing to do with the war or our troops well being but I spose it had to have all this crap in it?
Please explain cuz some of the stuff I heard it had in it on c-span biased made no sense to me.
Hope everyone has a Wonderful Memorial Day and remember to say thanks to every military person you see. You’ll feel better and it makes them feel great. I work in a walk-in clinic and we take military insurance, Tri-Care Prime and all of em and they just love it when I say thank you for all you do for our country.
