No one on the right is calling for impeachment. That's only the folks on the left. As for Republicans turning on the president - the ones Drewsmom is talking about - that's on the subject of Iraq. That's a place where "the right" that you're angry with supports President Bush completely. The ones deserting him here are the ones in the so-called center - the ones you claim to identify with more. MD's completely right. When the President is right on an issue, those of us on "the right" - whatever you consider that to be - will stand with him. We've done that countless times - tax cuts, judgeships, the War on Terror. And we will continue to do so. But when he's wrong, it's our duty to counsel him to rethink his position, as on the immigration issue. Lorica's also right..it seems you're looking for a reason to demonize the conservative base.
