In case anyone remembers Connecticut’s “Nifong Moment”, the substitute teacher is well on her way to being quitted. This is what the Computer Forensic exptert for the Defense, W. Herbert Horner, told me:

Well you missed it. It was on tv, radio, and newspapers and blogs and websites.

The judge and prosecutor caved and said my analysis was correct and the were given wrong information by their expert who was a cop with a one hour class in forensics. Stack that against my forty year reign.

The have opted for a new trial, which will never happen, no evidence. Unless, of course, they want me to hand their ass to them again.

Interesting PCD. Have done a stint in digital evidence and computer forensics, the case didn’t sound like it was worth squat when I heard about it, and the prosecutor’s claims indicated their “experts” had never seen the kind of vicious popups and trojans that porn sites use. Glad to hear they won’t railroad the teacher.
