Byron York recaps what Senator Barack Obama pledged to do in his first year as president:

Sen. Barack Obama, the candidate who once neglected to mention that he would counterattack if al Qaeda destroyed two U.S. cities, tonight pledged to meet, one-on-one, in his first year as president, with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Bashir Assad, Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, and Kim Jong Il.

Sen. Hillary Clinton refused to make such a pledge. “I will not promise to meet with the leaders of these countries during my first year,” she said. “I don’t want to be used for propaganda purposes.”

Advantage: Hillary.

Seriously, what the hell? And this guy wants to be leader of the free world? Someone shake me out of this horrible nightmare …

    OK, so we’ve established that Obama will lick the boots of any dictator out there who’s anti-American enough. That seems to be the only requirement.

    But I’ll bet you won’t catch him meeting with Fox News anytime soon….that might risk a scolding from the Kos and DU types.

    You know the Dems have gone completely over the edge when Hillary begins to sound sensible and moderate in comparison with the rest of the candidates. l-)

    And my first thought was “Oh great, another story about the Democrats…” =))

    Spoiler: it’s not. It’s not about any of the leftist candidates, or Harry Reid, or even about one of my own NJ Senators.

    But I’ll bet the headline had most of you making some sort of similar connection. :))
