Don't hold your breath for Thomas Sowell or Larry Elder, for example. I found a way to get new books cheap: got an Amazon credit card and I charge all my expenses except for my son's allowance. He insists on cash. When you build up enough credits, you get gift certificates from Amazon...good way to build your library. Also search the reduced books at Barnes and Noble. I got a great copy -- sewn binding, hard cover -- of "Democracy in America" there.
