First time visitor here. Democrats' game plan is entirely about lowering their own definition of moral standards so far that they can't be skewered with the hypocricy tag when they falter. I understand but don't accept the logic in the hypocricy charge: I doubt Larry Craig considers his own gay cruising to be morally right. I bet he considers it a sin that he just can't get around. I bet that he loves his wife and children and believes his marriage was the right thing for his life. I bet most people that have affairs don't consider the affair to be morally right. Does the fact of the affair negate the validity of their opinion on its morality? Not in the least. If anything, Larry Craig may have a better context for being anti-gay-marriage than most. Not that I'm defending Craig's actions. I'm glad to hear he's resigning. His vice has brought him down. That vice doesn't make him a hypocrite though. Great points. First time visitor here.
