Don’t be silly Matt. The left is overrun with uneducated people spewing their “opinions”….and some who are running for president.

Once again I think of left-coast conservatives who have to deal with crap like this on a daily basis, and sympathize. It also makes me wonder why the east coast hasn’t seen an influx of west-coasters who’ve had enough.

Not to start a pity party for myself…. I’m a tough guy who has enjoyed 10 hour debates with those who love it themselves.

But I have it doubly bad !!! I work in the CA state government. For the most part I keep my mouth zipped. There are a few of us here in the office who support each other and say our short conservative bits on some news worthy days. Any lengthy conversation that could be overheard we’ve experienced quite nasty vile hateful people come out of the woodwork and butt into the conversation with something totally unpersuasive but indicative of the hate they hold inside.

I remember when Condi Rice was nominated for Secretary of State the racist, sexist words that I can’t type here that were said by a group of women here at the state.

On recent dates with single women, the utter turn off it is to hear the most disgusting things because of their hate made those dates unbearable but I grinned and beared it – told them later, “we are not a good match”

The most common thread is the almost gleeful judgmental proclamations that Bush “wants” to see people suffer or die or that Bush doesn’t “care” or that he is against progress, the elderly, the environment, racial equality, etc.

You see ST, they “KNOW” Bush’s heart and mind. There can almost never be a discussion about the substance and the solutions proposed and the results that might be realized if those solutions were carried through. It is always just innuendo and lies.

It is irrelevant that this nation is the most generous, spends the most on climate change, has the most prosperous lower, middle and upper classes in general, provides good health care to people who make poor decision on exercise and food intake, provides the most in aid to other nations, oh… I could go on.

We are a good nation. Our president has good intentions in my opinion. I differ with him on issues but I do not hate him. I just cannot believe the AMOUNT of hate I hear here in CA state government – and the out-right lies (or at least negligently said statements – no due diligence – just lazy accusations and allegations) .
