Well, it's my third-favorite season...I could go the rest of my life without seeing another day with the temperature below 40 or another snowflake. >:p

Having dipped my toe in the topic, the rest of this comment will be way off topic...

Just for chuckles, I slummed around in the make-believe world known as the Daily Kos yesterday. And found an eye-opening post - a "featured post" of course, that's a perfect illustration of how their warped little minds work: Bloggers Against Election Theft

This moonbat gets right to the point:

Knowing how slim their chances of winning the presidency fair and square in 2008 are, Republicans in California are resorting to a ballot initiative trying to steal the election. This initiative would allocate electoral college votes by congressional district, meaning that the twenty or so districts in California that always vote Republican would go to the Republican nominee rather than to the winner of the overall state vote - most likely a Democrat.

So, in her contorted view of the world, changing the law through referendum - which California has had for decades - and then following that new law is "stealing an election". Read that passage again. Following the law equals stealing an election.

Here's what apparently is NOT considered stealing an election:

Having dead people vote (welcome to Chicago and Philly).

Flooding the voter registration rolls with phony voters (an ACORN specialty).

Vandalizing vehicles used to take the other party's voters to the polls, as in Milwaukee.

Registering people to vote in more than one state - NY and FL, for example.

Disenfranchising our servicemen and women, such as the Gore campaign attempted to do in 2000.

And of course, having partisans count "dimpled chads" in your favor in an attempt to sway the vote count.

All of which have been done by Democrats in the last few years. And that's only a partial list. Feel free to add others.

This is more evidence that the leftists really do think they have some sort of unquestioned right to rule. I'd say they think it's a divine right, but they don't seem to like God much either). Anytime they lose an election, it's because someone stole it from them, yet any tactics, even illegal ones, are fine as long as they win.

The ironic part is, I agree with them about the ballot initiative. If I lived in CA, I'd vote against it, but that's because I don't like monkeying with the electoral college. The difference is, they'd be spinning this same initiative as "democracy in action" if it were being presented in Texas ot North Carolina.

I'd say finding a really dumb Kossack post is as easy as shooting fish in a barrel, except it's even easier. l-)
