Oh, OK…so if enough people commit a crime, you want to figure out a way to legalize it? If we have a couple of million murderers, or rapists, or illegal Clinton fund-raisers, then we tear those pages out of the legal code and set them all free, right? What drivel…

What we need to do is secure the border first, and don’t try telling me it can’t be done. Where the wall has actually been built, it’s working.

Then we systematically begin finding the illegals and sending them home, starting with the ones who commit crimes beyond the illegal entry, and then any others who identify themselves. And I don’t care how it’s done…I’d be willing to have ICE officers on call at hospitals for when illegals show up for free health care, and take them in right then and there.

Your suggestion would only make matters worse. It would be proof positive that crime pays here, and only fools immigrate to America legally.

Your last statement is spot on, however…letting this happen at all was the first mistake. The best service we can do to legal immigrants is to clamp down on the illegals, not reward them further.

Hmmmm….Have we checked who is building this wall…Its very possible its being done with illegal labor…Just like Mitts lawn work…..Bring the troops home and put them on the border that will make it secure…..I do believe we need to secure our borders….The Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882….aimed at keeping Chinese out of the country….The British Passenger Act aimed at keeping the Irish out of the country….The Gentleman’s Agreement of 1907 aimed at the Japanese…The Immigration restriction league who Henry Cabot Lodge was a member helped introduce the Immigration Act of 1917 pointed at limiting the people of southern and eastern Europe the Italians, Russians, Poles, Hungarian, Greeks, and Asians (Although Mexicans were exempt because the Southwest needed the labor force Hmmmmm)…..This immigration question didn’t just pop up it has been around for a long time as to who we should let in and there has always been a resistance against what are considered people who would dilute the strength of this country….but history has proven that just hasn’t happened…There are 12 million plus people in this country that have been here for a long time…we need to figure out a way to make them legal…the slap in the face of those who have waited for years is that we were so lax and let the illegal immigration from Mexico happen in the first place…..

That border fence should have been built by now, but no, the Congress is still playing games with it, and has now cut the funding for it. It is 100% clear that Congress wants the southern border to remain wide open. It is equally clear that we need to clean house in Congress and get rid of these traitors who put the interests of foreigners ahead of those of the US. This has got to stop NOW! Get that fence built NOW!!

Amen Forest Hunter. I believe that the only way Hillary is going to win in 2008 is if she steals the election. I also fear that the theft will be so blatant that those who want to be deceived will cover it up for her. Then I think all get out is going to break loose. Ahhhh Yes isn’t it good that the Dems continue to “care about the security” of this country. Seems to me with enemies like these, why would Bin Laden need friends. He has all the co-conspirators he needs to achieve his goals.

This is exactly why when last summer’s immigration reform bill came forward I petitioned against it. Who can trust these people when they knowingly will weaken the security of the United States, in an attempt to be spiteful toward the opposition party.
