Sometimes his analysis can be scathingly brilliant, sometimes the work of a self-impressed pompous boor (no, that’s not a misspelling).  But always, at least for me, there’s the difficulty of giving much credence to someone who is so virulent in his hatred of God and contempt for those who believe.  If someone can be that blind, or if you prefer blinded by their own inability to at the least acknowledge the possibility of their being a God whose love for us is so great He sent His Son to die in our place so we could spend eternity with Him, how then am I supposed to readily accept his word on anything else?
