French Foreign Minister: ‘Magic is Over’ for U.S.

Speaking at the launch of a Forum for New Diplomacy in Paris, Kouchner said the United States will never be the country it was before the Bush presidency and will have to work to repair its reputation, especially since the 2003 U.S.-led invasion of Iraq.

Isn’t it amusing when an insult from France is considered a compliment. If I hear one more time about our “battered” image or reputation, I’m gonna scream.

So does being “the country we were before” mean we go back to burying our head in the sand and looking the other way when threats emerge? Does it mean we have to wait until airliners slam into buildings before we say “AHA! Now THEY’RE a threat!”

I think France has enough problems of it’s own to focus on.

Has anybody seen this? Not sure if it’s been posted yet, but it’s hilarious!!!!

    U.S. Marines vs. Hippies

I’m certainly no fan of the Daily show, but this segment is great. Check out when the girls says “If there were no Marines there would be no war.” Then the reporter asks “So if there were no police, there would be no crimes?”

DUHHHHHH!!!! What a bunch of loons!!!
