Damn.

Gone, but not forgotten. Here’s a classic:

    I saw him play a free concert at the Central Park Summerstage about 15 years ago. In the middle of the set he delivered an anti-drug tirade. He got a standing O for it, and then went back to the music.

    He knew what destroys communities, and what builds them up.
