Speculation of Webb as VP will do one very positive thing – it will once again force to the front the Dems’ hatred, fear, and contempt of Southern voters. So by all means Obama, please have this fratricidal fight about Confederate flags in pickup trucks. Make sure you mention gun totin’ Bible thumpin’ cousin humpin’ rednecks, too.

Then, after you lose you’ll console yourself with bitter grumblings about how racist they are, in addition to being stupid. It’s a win-win!

I don’t care much for Mrs Webb’s little boy Jimmy either for a long list of reasons.

However, with regard to this specific issue, perception and litmus test are all that matter.

How would it look to have a Black Racist pick a White Racist to run with?
