I touched on this topic briefly earlier today, but wanted to come back to it this evening. Comedian and equal-opportunity cynic Jon Stewart took on Obama during an “Indecision 2008″ segment earlier this week on The Daily Show, and hilarity ensued:
I love it at the end where he tells his viewers that it’s ok to laugh at Obama. LOL ![]()

All I see below “hilarity ensued:” is a big gray square.
But I think if Obama is elected, it’ll be no laughing matter…
The “usual suspects” at the end, where the Democrats try in vain to tell us that Obama blowing off public finance is “reforming” the system is very fitting for Comedy Central!
What’s most disturbing is how Obama is above reproach. It’s become almost blasphemy to criticize him in anyway. Kudos to John Stewart for pointing this out in his comedy routine, but he’ll probably catch flack for that, just like the rest of us. It’s as if Obama has been packaged and sold to us as some kind of diety, when he’s nothing more than a junior senator, with a thin resume, who voted present a hundred times at his job.
