What this means is an MSM rag with revenues dropping like a rock is looking to tie their fate to someone reputable. So they quote you to give themselves some respectability.

This is enough to bring some conservatives out on the side of the MSM.

This is how The New York Times handles people they want to cite, but not really respect. But being “disrespected” — is that really a verb now? — by the Times is a badge of honor.
