He was one of the poster-children for Republican spending excess and earmark corruption that cost us both houses of Congress in 2006. I hope he gets nailed. [-( The only downside (and I do mean only) is that this should be a safe seat for Republicans in a year we can ill afford to lose any seats. As Power Line asks, who can we get to replace Stevens as a candidate? Could Governor Palin be persuaded to run? Stevens is getting what he deserves.
