    This is a shame:

Kristol: Colin Powell to Endorse Barack Obama

Sources say former Secretary of State Colin Powell will endorse Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention, Weekly Standard Editor Bill Kristol told FOX News exclusively on Thursday.

I have great respect for Colin Powell, and always will, but this is very disappointing.

Powell spokeswoman Peggy Cifrino strongly denied the report.

“There’s absolutely no truth to it whatsoever” Cifrino told FOXNews.com. “Colin Powell will not be at either convention. There’s absolutely no truth to this.”

    I can only hope so.

And if he does show up at the Dem convention, I will be more disappointed in him than I already am. – Lorica

So is this a smart attempt to appeal to the non partisan ideals or is this a phenomenally bad idea??

McCain Says He’d Consider Pro-Choice VP

Republican presidential candidate John McCain on Wednesday floated the prospect of picking a running mate who supports abortion rights and cited former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge as someone worth considering.

running mate who supports abortion rights

If he does, you can say good bye to much of the Evangelical vote. Also, it makes no sense to say he would appoint Pro-Life Judges, but have a Pro-Choice Veep. Who would believe him after he made that choice??? – Lorica

The A.P. shows its true colors once again. This is an article the AP wrote about Obama’s response to Corsi’s book. Notice anything biased about the article???

Obama campaign issues rebuttal to book’s claims

The book is a compilation of all the innuendo and false rumors against Obama

Oh really? Is this conclusion a result of an exhaustive research into Obama’s past?? Certainly not.

In “The Obama Nation” — the title is a twist on the word abomination — Corsi catalogs various allegations that have haunted Obama on right-wing blogs and anonymous e-mails.

No doubt this writer will refer to all the false accusations and rumors against McCain as those that appear on left wing blogs, right? Again, certainly not.

Corsi suggests, without a shred of proof, that Obama may be using drugs today.

Not unlike the story of McCain’s “affair”, also printed without a shred of proof.

This article is not about the Obama campaign trying to defend itself. The writer himself is defending Obama. Of course, this is nothing new and will only get better as we get closer to election time. The press, once again, proves it is nothing more than a whore for the dems.

After reading Nedra Pickler’s snotty AP article, I did something that I have never done before – I went to Amazon and ordered The Obama Nation.
