John McCain told FOX News Wednesday he believes Ifill will be “objective” at the debate.

“Does this help if she has written a book that’s favorable to Senator Obama? Probably not,” McCain said. “But I have confidence Gwen Ifill will do a professional job.”

Ever wonder if there is an Obama mole in the McCain campaign? I think that we may have just found him.

WASHINGTON (AP) – Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin repeatedly failed to cite a newspaper or magazine when asked what she had read regularly before John McCain picked her as his running mate, saying only that she had read “most of them.”

I saw a clip of this on the Today show. It was so funny watching Katie pant like she just found a bone.

Sarah’s answer is just to nice:

“I’ve read most of them, again with a great appreciation for the press, for the media,” Palin replied. Asked for examples, she said, “Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me all these years.”

I like how they leave the “um” in there. If they were to do that for Barry it would be half the article.

Then after Katie asked again, Sarah flamed her:

Asked again for an example, Palin told Couric: “I have a vast variety of sources where we get our news, too. Alaska isn’t a foreign country, where it’s kind of suggested, ‘Wow, how could you keep in touch with what the rest of Washington, D.C., may be thinking when you live up there in Alaska?’ Believe me, Alaska is like a microcosm of America.”

I think she will do alright against Joe “Delaware was once a slave state” Biden. Even with the moderator in the tank for Barry. – Lorica
