GWR, let me take a shot at answering your question. You see these people who hate America, hated America even during Bill Clinton’s years as President, but they also knew that Clinton didn’t really do anything to stop them. Yeah he talked a good game, but when it came down to it, all he did was fire a cruise missile into an emtpy tent and killed a camel. Unlike GW, who as we all know, wiped out two anti-American strongholds. The rest of the nations realized that the hayday of malaise was over. That there was a new sheriff in town, so to speak, and he wasn’t pussy footin’ around anymore.

So now these guys all want to go back to the way things were. Where the President only talked about bringing these murderers to justice, and really didn’t do crap. America is safer under GW than we were under Bill Clinton. Just like America was much better off before this Dem Congress took over, but that I pray can be rectified next week. – Lorica

Well, it's not as good for a laugh, but Obama has another, more nuanced endorsement, according to Reuters:

An al Qaeda leader has called for President George W. Bush and the Republicans to be "humiliated," without endorsing any party in the upcoming U.S. presidential election, according to a video posted on the Internet. "O God, humiliate Bush and his party, O Lord of the Worlds, degrade and defy him," Abu Yahya al-Libi said at the end of sermon marking the Muslim feast of Eid al-Fitr, in a video posted on the Internet.

No, he doesn't directly endorse Obama. But if Bush's party is to be humiliated, then who is he expecting to win? The Greens? So now, to the list that already included Oooogo Chavez, the brothers Castro, Kim Jong Il, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the CPUSA, we can now add al Qaeda as hoping for an Obama presidency. And I'm still waiting for alchemist or any other leftist to come up with a coherent explanation why they don't find it troubling that every major America-hating despot and terrorist group on earth desperately wants to see the GOP lose and Obama win. That's a question that always seems to make them hide.
